Tour of the New World
There has no doubt been a revolution in wine drinking over the past few decades. The slightly stuffy image of wine has been replaced with a cool, friendly face epitomised by Kiwi Sauvignon, Aussie Shiraz and Cali Chardonnay. In these sunny climes, easy drinking is the name of the game, but that's not to say there's not serious stuff being made out there. Far from it. Dig deeper away from the brands and the bright labels and you'll find thoughtful, dynamic winemakers producing world-class wine whether it is from the South African coast or the Andes mountains in Argentina.
Over one evening we'll explore all the major New World wine countries choosing a signature wine to represent each wine country. You'll definitely come away with more knowledge and appreciation of New World wine.
