Tour of Italy
Italy provides us with some of the best-known wines but can appear complex and confusing at times. Over the years, the more I have drunk and learnt about Italian wine and the more I have visited the country and the more Italians I have met, the less complicated it has become. Put at the heart of it, the phrase La Dolce Vita, the simple pleasures in life, romance, music, good food and wine, and you can begin to unravel the complex tapestry of Italian wine so it starts to make sense.
Over one evening we'll be touring Italy from the Alpine north to the hot baking south, discovering a dizzying array of wine styles and uncovering new gems as well as some old favourites. You'll come away with more knowledge and appreciation of Italian wine.
