WSET courses
Places on WSET courses are only confirmed once full payment is received.
Cancellations on confirmed courses are accepted up to 10 working days prior to the start of the course. If any study materials have been supplied then the full cost of the study materials supplied plus any postage incurred will be deducted and the remainder of the course fee refunded to the payee. All refund requests must be made in writing and sent to info@cambridgewineacademy.com
Transfers to another course or applicant may be made up to 10 working days before the course start date plus the cost of any additional study materials that may be applicable. All transfers must start within one year of the original course booked and subject to availability on the alternate course.
If a student cancels a confirmed course booking less than 10 working days prior to the start of the course, or at any time after the start of the course, no refund or transfer of the course fees will be made, although we would appreciate notification if you know in advance that you will be unable to attend.
The course fee will be refunded if Cambridge Wine Academy cancels or changes a course date due to lack of numbers. Students will receive notification in the 10 working days prior to the course start date.
Exam fees are included in the price of the course and the dates fixed to the course booked. Once booked, an examination date cannot be changed. If a student fails to attend the exam on the confirmed date then the exam is forteited and no refund or transfer can be made.
Exam transfer dates may be requested in writing up to 10 working days before the exam date to info@cambridgewineacademy.com. Any change will incur an admin fee of £25.
Students that are not successful in the exam (Fail only) are eligible to resit. the resit fees are currently
WSET Level 1 - £95
WSET Level 2 - £125
WSET Level 3 - Tasting & theory £200, Tasting only £95, Theory only £125
Students will need to bring photographic identification with them on the date of any examination, such as a driving licence or passport.
Students requiring special examination conditions ('reasonable adjustments') must submit their request before starting the course. Such requests must be supported by a doctor’s certificate or similar document.
Wine tastings
Our wine tasting events are strictly for those aged 18 years and older.
Places on wine tastings are only confirmed once full payment is received.
In the event of 'no shows' no refunds or transfers will be given
If the booking is cancelled more than four weeks before the event then a full refund is possible. No refunds are given less than four weeks before the event but a transfer to another event is possible.
A transfer to another tasting will be considered if Cambridge Wine Academy is notiified no later than 10 working days before the event.
