Wine Tastings

Whether you’re a wine novice, a wine pro, a wine enthusiast, a wine lover or you just want to learn more about wine, Steve of Cambridge Wine Academy can help with Wine Tasting Courses and events open to people of all wine knowledge and experience.

Our wine tasting events are for everyone and offer a great opportunity to taste carefully selected wines from around the world in a friendly, informal environment. As well as tasting great wines, you will receive expert advice on how to taste wine and pair food and wine successfully. You will receive a gentle introduction to the wine regions of the world through a clear, concise, unstuffy presentation from Steve, accompanied, as always, by entertaining visuals and lovely food. Wine tasting evenings with The Cambridge Wine Academy are also a great opportunity to meet new people and share your experiences of wine or anything else you fancy really.

If you have ever found yourself staring aimlessly at rows and rows of wine bottles, unsure of the best one to choose and then picking up a bottle in the hope it will be nice, will match the meal, and your guests or host will approve, then why not book onto a Wine Tasting evening with Steve?

As a wine lover and enthusiast, Steve wants to make you a better purchaser of wine; he will arm you with a sprinkling of knowledge, a handful of confidence, and bucket loads of enthusiasm which will help to take the guesswork out of buying wine in the future.

Here at Cambridge Wine Academy, it’s all about Tasting, Learning and Enjoying – you will learn about grape varieties and different wine-producing countries, as well as tips on how to taste and pair wine in a fun, relaxed, informal and educational way.

A wide range of wine tasting sessions on different themes is available but if there is a particular area or wine you would like to know more about, please call Steve.
